The joys of Summer in the Dordogne

Between the birds and myself, there is a scramble every morning to get to the ripe strawberries first. Sometimes we share (-- meaning they eat half of the ripe berries and I eat what is left) -- but we do not waste a morsel! Never has fruit tasted so sweet!

Are we going to get a running commentary on Roland Garros or does the motorbike escapade prevent this? That would be a pity because I’d love to read your observations to this magnificent (French) sporting event!

Oh MaryPickFlower! The temptation is so big to sit and watch tennis all day long -- and such exciting tennis there is this year at Roland Garros too! Never having been a sportsman of note myself, I am however an avid and professional spectator and cannot resist watching any sport where there is good competition. (understandable when you consider I come from a place where we do not believe that winning isn't everything -- we believe winning is the only thing!)
So - yes -- there is bound to be something included in the blog soon!......
