What a wonderful Christmas Calendar that you have set up on your blog ! But- do you know what ? In Reykjavik we are one day ahead of you ! As our Christmas celebration begins on the 24th. December, we have only 14 days to count today :-)

I am pleased you reminded me -- I had intended to put something on the 13 days 'in honour' of my Icelandic friends's 13 Christmas elves and trolls. I shall now do that a day earlier!--
I often think of the most wonderful times I have spent in Iceland -- especially during this time before Christmas -- with all the delicious food and special little customs and traditions that are so unique to Iceland!
